How to measure a package correctly

Determining Length (L), Width (W), and Height (H) The longest side of your package is your length. Be sure to round your measurements up to the nearest centimeter.Girth = Length + 2x Height + 2x Width

 

How do I calculate the girth and what additional costs apply?

Girth = longest side + 2x height + 2x width

How do I measure an irregularly shaped package?

Measure irregularly shaped packages as if they were in a rectangular box. Measure the length, width, and height of the theoretical package from the furthest points to determine the package dimensions. In this example, the total girth is 444 cm: Length = 202 cm Width = 76 cm Height = 45 cm

 

 

What is not conveyor belt compatible?

These packages are not conveyor belt compatible and may incur extremely high additional costs from UPS, as they need to be scanned manually and sorted/transported by employees!
