Our thermal-mechanical cleaning process cleans the particle filter gently and reliably.
The engine often does not warm up, the exhaust gas temperature is too low, and more unburned soot particles collect in the filter. Since soot has a larger volume than ash (burnt-off soot), the filter reaches its maximum filling level more quickly. Aborted regenerations in stop and go traffic also have a negative effect on the durability of the DPF/catalyst cartridge.
The condition of the add-on parts is also important, because defects in the periphery also lead to premature loading with soot. After our cleaning, please follow our installation instructions and check the vehicle for possible sources of defects.
We advise you not to exhaust the filter to the limit, but to go below the manufacturer’s maintenance/replacement interval. This way you are sure that a suddenly clogged DPF will not lead to inconvenience and breakdowns. Go below the interval specified by the manufacturer and use times in which the truck is available for a professional cleaning of your filter. This way you can rely on the functionality of your DPF at peak times.
